TERMS AND CONDITIONS - UNICORN GIVEAWAY
THE PROMOTER
● For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to Unicorn Darts Ltd whose Instagram handle is @officialunicorndarts
ELIGIBILITY
● This competition is only open to UK residents ONLY (Inclusive of Northern Ireland)
● Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of entry
● Employees of The Promoter are not eligible to enter
● The competition opens at 9am GMT 24th October 2024 and closes at 5pm GMT 7th November 2024. Entries are only valid during this time. Winners will be notified on or after this date.
● Internet access is required for entry. Participants are reminded to get the owner’s permission before using a computer, device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant to enter the Promotion. The Promoter will not be liable for any Internet or mobile connection, or other charges incurred in entering the Promotion.
HOW TO ENTER
● Each participant will be entered into the competition by commenting under the specified @officialunicorndarts Instagram competition post.
● Participants will only be required to comment to enter.
○ The post will encourage user's to follow @officialunicorndarts however this will not be taken into account as an additional entry.
● Only 1 entry per person. If you enter more than once your first entry will be accepted and all others will be disqualified.
● There is no entry fee nor purchase necessary to enter this competition.
● Winners will not be required to pay to enter this competition.
● Any entries considered (in our absolute discretion) to be political, dangerous, profane, suggestive, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, offensive (including but not limited to words or symbols that might be considered offensive to individuals of any race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group) cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be immediately disqualified.
● The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid.
● Some entries might be shared by the Promoter on Instagram or the Promoter may comment on your entry. This does not mean that you are a winner, neither does it increase your chances of winning.
PRIZE
● The prizes consist of 5 Unicorn Darts Shirts with Joe Marler badge.
● 5 winners to be selected – each will only win one shirt.
● Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
WINNER'S
● The Prize will be awarded to 5 randomly selected winners who have entered on Instagram (in accordance to the guidelines stated above), using a random number generator.
● The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested via Direct Message and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.
● Winner’s must respond via Direct Message inbox within 1 week of the closing date (latest date to contact winners, 14th November 2024) in order to receive their prize. If a winner does not respond by 21st November 2024, their prize will be forfeited and awarded to a runner-up that is drawn at the same time as the original draw.
● Winners' names and social media handles will not be posted on social media.
● The surname of the prize winners will be made available to anyone who requests them by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of the closing date. Participants may request their surname is not published in the event they win by emailing [email protected]
● Please note the Promoter is required to provide a winner list (including details of any winner who has opted out) to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.
DATA PROTECTION
● As part of the promotion, we collect the following personal data: username (for entrants), name and address for winners (to distribute the prize) and surname for the purpose of providing a winner list. These details are requested for administering the promotion only.
GENERAL
● The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
● In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
● To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
● To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
● Instagram is not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition. You are providing your information to The Promoter and not any other party.
● By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
