“I’m not looking too far ahead” – Callan Rydz

By Ryan Segal

Callan Rydz has said he’s not “looking too far ahead” as he travels to Antwerp for the Flanders Darts Trophy.

The 27-year-old, who hails from Bedlington, travels to Belgium to take part in his fifth European Tour event of the 2025, looking for his first ET win of the season.

‘The Riot’ comes into the weekend off the back of a solid few days in Milton Keynes, picking up a couple of wins and putting up a 102 average in defeat to Gabriel Clemens.

He kicks off his ET10 campaign on Friday night, facing Northern Irishman Daryl Gurney.

On facing the one half of the 2025 World Cup winning duo, he remarked:

“I’m great friends with Daryl.

It’s always a hard game against him, with everything that he’s won”

And with a tie against fellow Team Unicorn member Ross Smith on offer to the winner, Callan is remaining focused on the task at hand:

“I have to take every game one at a time, without looking too far ahead”.

The Riot enters the action in the sixth match of the Evening Session, commencing at approximately 20:30 BST.
