Walking Football teams, including the likes of Nottingham Forest, Norwich City, Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham, Grimsby, Leicester & Derby used Molten’s new 3135 'walking football' to impressive effect at the 2025 Melton Mowbray Walking Football Tournament over the weekend.
24 teams, over two days, competed for the coveted trophies, eventually lifted by Pollock, Glasgow (Over 60s) and Forest Vets (Over 50s).
Event organiser Gray Salt confirmed:
“The new Vantaggio 3135 was used in over 50 walking football matches over the course of Saturday and Sunday. During the tournament weekend, we saw a number of incidents where a standard matchball would surely have harmed our players, goalkeepers and spectators. The lighter build and soft underlayer were perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the 3135 to any walking footballers looking to balance performance with safety.”
